About
Greetings to you all~
My name is Donna Jones.
I was born in Ohio, raised in Indiana and then spent 30 years in Southern California.
Today I live in the Ocala Forest in Central Florida with Walkingfox and our Airedale Breanna.
We are surrounded by the best of the ” Sunshine State “ here, with abundant wildlife, bright blue skies, lush exotic plant life and beautiful water nearly everywhere. Florida truly is a tropical paradise.
My education Major was in Anthropology, specializing in Ethnography, with Minors in Geology and Native American Studies at CSUN in California.
The primary focus of this Blog will be Global Culture, which is a natural reflection of all of the various people and places that I studied and wrote about while there.
My deep interest in Culture led me to so many places in America and elsewhere, each making its own special memory.
My Ancestors were quite well-rounded and included: Irish, Scottish, Prussian, Norwegian, English and Shawnee.
I hope that you enjoy what you find here about the fascinating people and places of our world.
Your support, questions and comments are deeply appreciated, always~
Please come join me on Twitter, even though I am brand new at this,
I would love to meet all of you in a place where brevity rules!

I put in to follow this, my education was mostly science orientated and anthropology and archaeology have always interested me. You are off to a great start!

Not that the rest is done, but a much needed first person has been done this morning. Hope you like it~
You and Walkingfox both like History.

Ha, ha !! You are a riot!
I much prefer your name though~
Thank you, but it was my chosen field in College, if you are referring to Global Culture~
Many years have gone into the works.
The wild life and wild places here in Florida, is more recent knowledge and was learned in situ!

Hi Donna… Eric here;
I have a nomination for you for
the Liebster 2014 Blog award
and for the Liebster new blog badge.
The original badge was limited to
blogs with less than 200 followers.
There are no rules for this award… so, copy it
to your media and post it as you like. To copy, click
here: http://hunt4truth.files.wordpress.com/2013/12/liebster-award.jpg
The 2014 award is given for active
blogs that I appreciate. There is a requirement
to share the award and to write a short post.
Here: http://hunt4truth.wordpress.com/2014/04/14/liebster-100/
Just click on the second link to learn
more about the awards.
I’m glad to follow your blog… and just wanted
to let you know with this nomination.
Blessings…
~ Eric
PS…
I hope that you will accept. I do appreciate
that some bloggers do not want to participate.
In fact, I was teetering at the edge for several
months and I didn’t accept a few at first.
I decided to participate and there isn’t any
doubt that it’s worthwhile for me and that
sharing the awards makes most nominees
happy.

Dear Eric.
I am honored by your kindness.
I decided many months ago, that Awards were an uncomfortable fit for me and for my Blog.
So I created my “About Awards” page to address this issue.
Thank you for your kindness and consideration.
Much affection to you!
